  • Billing and shipping address
  • Tax identification number (for trade account verification)
  • Login credentials (passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text)

Order & Transaction Data

  • Product orders, quantities, and order history
  • Invoice records and payment history
  • ACH payment method details (bank account and routing numbers, stored securely via our payment processor)

Usage Data

  • Pages and features accessed within the app or website
  • Search queries and product views
  • Device type, operating system version, and app version
  • Crash reports and performance diagnostics

Communications

  • Messages sent to your sales representative through the app
  • Support requests and correspondence

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfill your flooring orders
  • Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery notifications
  • Generate and manage invoices and process ACH payments
  • Provide tier-based pricing specific to your trade account
  • Connect you with your dedicated Teckton sales representative
  • Send important account alerts (invoice due dates, payment confirmations)
  • Improve the app and website and fix technical issues
  • Comply with legal and financial record-keeping obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate our services:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 — our ERP system for order and invoice management
  • Payment processors — to securely process ACH payments (bank details are encrypted in transit and at rest)
  • Cloud infrastructure providers — for app hosting and data storage
  • Legal authorities — when required by law or to protect our rights

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to Teckton.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and transaction data for as long as your trade account is active and for a minimum of 7 years to comply with financial and tax record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of personal data not required for legal compliance by contacting us.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • 256-bit TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted storage of sensitive financial information
  • Multi-factor authentication for account access
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

6. Push Notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications for order updates, invoice reminders, and payment confirmations. You can manage or disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings or within the Teckton app under Account → Notification Preferences.

  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
